Call for Abstracts

The organizing committee of the IFC14 invites the submission of abstracts for oral or poster presentations. This is an excellent opportunity to share your latest research, developments, and practical insights with an international audience.

Scientific Topics

Abstracts are welcome on a broad range of topics related to fatigue, fracture, materials science, and structural integrity. Contributions may cover experimental, theoretical, numerical, and applied aspects. Key thematic areas include:

  • Fatigue mechanisms and crack propagation
  • Advanced modelling, simulation, and life prediction methods
  • High-cycle and very high cycle fatigue
  • Material behavior under complex loading conditions
  • Emerging materials and advanced manufacturing
  • Damage evaluation and non-destructive testing
  • Environmental effects, corrosion, and hydrogen embrittlement
  • Biomedical and microelectronic applications
  • Case studies, industrial applications, and reliability analysis
  • Artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should be written in clear, concise English and limited to 300 words. Authors may submit up to two abstracts as presenting author. Submissions must follow the official abstract template, available for download on the conference website.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Accepted contributions will be assigned to oral or poster sessions.
